Repair
Here is an example of the
the modular repair system.
Board Assembly Replacement
Tools needed : 1) # 2
Phillips screwdriver, medium size 2)
needle nose pliers, small 3) small
wire cutters or diagonal cutters.
Important! BEFORE starting,
please be sure to turn the power switch to the off
position and and unplug the power cord from the outlet.
Let the chair sit for 10 minutes before proceeding.
Raise up the footrest manually and lock it in
place by pushing up the supporting bar as shown
in step 2.

Remove the wing-nut (silver) inside the left
armrest, and then take off the armrest by pulling
upward.

Remove the 5 screws on the computer
board box and and remove the cover located in
the lower left rear of the chair. Unplug the 3
cables by pushing down on the latch at the top
of the wire harness shown in step 6.

Please remove the remote controller from any
place it may get pinched before folding the
backrest down. Unlatch the backrest lock located
underneath the center of the backrest by pulling
the latch and then push the backrest forward
to the front of the chair as shown below in
step 9.

From the front of the chair re move the front
screw of the power assembly as shown in step

Take off the 2 back screws shown in step 11,
and then remove the cover of the power assembly
by pulling towards the front of the chair as
in step 12

No remove the 3 front screws, and then take off
the 2 rear screws. |
Cut the 4 wire bands (step 15) which hold the
remote control’s wiring. Now unplug the gray
cable located under the seat as shown in step
16.

Once repairs have been made to the Board Assembly
or a new one has arrived please reinstall by reversing
the instructions above.
Your chair is now fixed!
Before putting the arms back on the chair, test the
chair to ensure it is working properly.
Lower the leg rest by releasing the lock.
Plug the chair in.
Turn the power switch back to on.
Push the red power button once to turn the remote on.
Push the timer button to set the time for 5 minutes.
Push the Health Time or Vigor buttons. The chair will begin a
5-minute programmed function.
Watch the timer circle on the remote for any messages other than
the timer countdown.
If the cycle completes with no ‘ER’ message in the timer cycle, the
repair is successfully completed.
You may now finish reassembling the
chair using the reverse order above. CAUTION: before
reassembling, turn the power switch off and unplug
the power cord from the power outlet.
When reassembly is complete, plug the power cord in,
turn the power switch on, and repeat the same 5-minute program to
ensure that no plugs or connecters were dislodged during the
reassembly process.
If after reassembly, and during
the final 5-minute test, you detect anything that
seems inconsistent with normal operation of the chair,
contact Premier Health Products Customer Support.
If you have been asked to return the defective
board assembly to PHP, please use the packing materials
that were sent with the replacement parts to ensure
safe delivery of the parts. |
